Smoking and Cancer

Daniel Miller

Smoking and cancer are siblings!
The toxins in cigarette smoke not only damage a cell’s DNA causing cancer, but also weaken the body’s immune system enabling cancer growth. Every system in the body is negatively affected by smoking. Cessation of smoking must be an integral part of every smoker’s cancer treatment plan.

Surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation are excellent tools in battling cancer but all are negated by smoking. All the water on the planet will never put out a fire if the cause of the fire is not addressed.

We at Dayton Physicians Network are here for YOU including a team of healthcare professionals ready to help.
