Dr. Savir earned his Doctorate in Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn N.Y, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was president of the school’s Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He performed his internship in Internal Medicine at The University of Washington in Seattle. He went on to receive his training in Radiation Oncology at Tufts Medical Center, and was Chief Resident in his final year. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Savir became a Clinical Fellow in Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital,where he studied proton therapy, and received additional training in Head and Neck Malignancies, Sarcomas, and CNS Malignancies. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology. He and his wife and son are excited to join the Miami Valley community.
